  • Building Up Literacy Skills!

    Funded Feb 28, 2025

It has been truly inspiring to see my students' excitement while using the new all-in-one magnetic phonics kits. They eagerly engage with the magnetic letters and sounds, building words, tapping out sounds, and writing them correctly on the dry-erase lines. This hands-on experience has greatly reinforced their understanding of the phonics skills we focus on in our reading intervention groups. The manipulatives incorporate touch and movement, reinforcing auditory and visual learning for stronger retention.”

  • Gear Up for Greatness: Fill our Toolbox for Learning

    Funded Mar 1, 2025

I want to sincerely thank you for your generous donation of pencils, crayons, pens, and a long-arm stapler to our classroom. Your kindness and support mean so much to both me and my students. These supplies will go a long way in helping our students stay creative, organized, and engaged in their learning. My students use pencils and crayons daily in our lessons. The long-arm stapler is being used to create classroom leveled reading books that my students use to practice their phonics skills.

Your generosity truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for your thoughtfulness. Thank you again for supporting our classroom!”

  • Engineering Excellence with STEM Materials

    Funded Dec 6, 2024

Watching my students explore the new STEM materials has been such a joy. Their favorite kit has been the roller coaster kit, as they have discovered ways to make their coasters faster and faster by working together. I love seeing the light of learning in their eyes and their excitement as they make the new coasters each time. My students have had productive conversations about improving their magnetic coasters so they would move more smoothly and go faster. They got so excited to see their ideas come to life, even when they didn't work out how they thought they would.

My students are learning many wonderful skills through these STEM kits, including working together. Thank you for your generous donation and inspiring the love of learning in my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Alford

  • Incredible Incentives!

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

Thank you for the wonderful incentives to add to our classroom prize box. The fidget spinners, pencils, candy, and erasers are such fun additions for my students to choose from. My students love it when they can visit our prize box at the end of the week and choose a prize they like best to reward their work effort and progress throughout the week. These incentives for students effectively motivate them, promote positive behavior, and encourage academic achievement.

Thank you again for making our classroom so special!”

My students are very excited kindergarteners who love to come to school and learn new things. They come from a low-income, rural area of South Carolina, but are very eager to learn new things. They attend a large elementary school which houses pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.
