Funded Aug 6, 2021Thank you so much for helping us to fulfill our project and return to school safely. We are so appreciative of everything that has been delivered to our room. Since our return in August our classroom has been a COVID safe environment for all students. We have used our UV wands to sanitize throughout the day and Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards to help purchase digital work so that students can complete assignments and be COVID safe.
Returning back to in person learning has been a challenge, but with your help we were able to do it safely. Everything that was purchased helped us to keep safe and the students are enjoying their time in the classroom with their peers.
Thank you for your generosity and helping us to complete our project. We are so grateful for this opportunity. Please keep safe!”

Funded May 30, 2021Thank you so much for helping us fund our project and receive our supplies. The plastic bins work extremely well to help keep all students supplies in one place and away from each other. The students are loving their bins and have already filled it with wonderful school work. We could not have started our year off safe without your help, so thank you so much for making this happen for us. My students are enjoying school, socially distancing themselves from each other and keeping safe as we continue in person learning. Thank you again for all your support and hope you are all keeping safe as well!”

Funded Feb 4, 2020Thank you so much for the generous donations to our classroom. We were so excited to receive our package in the mail! We immediately opened up our new learning tools and started to use them in small groups. As a teacher I couldn't believe how engaged my students were to spell words with their new magnetic alphabet tiles. This was such a new and hands on way to practice sight words, CVC words, and to identify letter sounds.
Small groups have gotten so much more engaging with our learning tools. My kids are excited to try to spell and can stay on task throughout the whole lesson. They are interested in participating and these alphabetic learning tools holds their attention the entire time.
Our other shape magnetic tiles are a great addition to help build on kids fine motor skills. They really enjoy creating new things and being able to share their creation with their classmates!”

Funded May 7, 2019Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom. We have been so fortunate to receive our new learning supplies this upcoming school year. We can't wait to use these literacy materials to learn our alphabet sounds and letter recognition.
When my students first opened the boxes they were so excited to see what was in store for them. They looked at everything and immediately wanted to try out all the new supplies. As a Kindergarten teacher these supplies means so much to me as this is the first school year for many of these students. We can use these supplies to support student learning in so many ways. Thanks for helping to keep my students engaged!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for funding our classroom project. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn with our new STEAM projects. When we first got the box my students had no idea what these materials were but were excited just to see everything come out. I had to go over rules and expectations especially when we use the Cricut in class, but they were overly excited to try everything for the first time.
As a Kindergarten teacher, art is so important for my students to express themselves creatively. Having this Cricut allows them to design and print their own artwork in class. The foam shapes and toothpicks allow them to create objects using other shapes. These students love to build and are so excited when these materials come out for them to use and learn from. As we do science lessons I use the STEAM model to help me integrate art as well. Having these materials is a great way for us to complete these lessons. They are so engaged, and it helps them to learn in a different way.
My next steps over the summer is to create vinyl sticker whiteboards for each of my students to have on their desks right in front of them during class time. This will help them during discussions to participate. I am sure my next year's kindergarten class will gain so much from these supplies as well. My students next year will also be completing STEAM lessons throughout the year. Their first one is to create stickers by spelling their own names. This is a great introduction to name spelling and letter recognition. Thank you again for thinking about our classroom. We appreciate your generosity!”

The STEM materials that your provided to our classroom has been used in science lessons as well as enrichment. The students love a challenge and have enjoyed creating new projects on their own. As we continue the year we will be incorporating all of our new hands on kits into our lesson. The kids will love learning in a new "hands on" way!
