Having the proper materials will give students a better opportunity to thrive in the classroom. This is what I am trying to accomplish with my project. I would like to give my students the basic necessities to help them explore areas of math. These materials are going to be very beneficial for my students to grow as mathematicians. Students will be able to use the white copy paper to work out math problems and analyze the work of their peers in order to solve. The dry erase markers will allow them to work out problems and edit easily on white boards. Every good math student does their work in pencils, which is why I am requesting these also for my students. Mistakes are expected, respected, inspected, and corrected in math class and using erasers and pencils allow us to do so. Lined paper will students to take proper notes on mathematical vocabulary. We will also be able to display our newly learned vocabulary using the permanent markers. Supplies are needed in order to people real world mathematicians and my students will use each supply in order to achieve their mathematical goals.
