  • ABC Come Play with Me!

    Funded Mar 22, 2025

Thank you so much for the amazing donation to our classroom. We are so lucky to have generous donors like you who care about our social, emotional, and academic growth. My students will be so excited to use our new materials. There will be many smiles and eager faces who are ready to play and learn!”

  • Bricks and Dough to Help Us Grow

    Funded Mar 6, 2025

It is so wonderful to show students brand new materials for our classroom. You can see the joy in their faces. I showed them the lego pieces and play dough materials. They were put to use right away. I saw new play dough creations that were so creatively done. The lego was also used as a wonderful building tool. They will be used daily during center times.

Your donation truly shows them the beauty of giving back to a community. I explained to my students how important it is to spread kindness to others in any way we can.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Most

  • We Are Magnets to Creativity!

    Funded Feb 14, 2025

It was a wonderful experience to share the materials with my students. They were all so excited to explore and play. The magnatiles were put straight to use. So many amazing things have been built using them.

The bean bags have been a very useful addition to our social emotional activities. We use them to practice following directions, learning how to play with a partner, and many other songs and activities.

Most importantly, I use these donations to teach my students the concept of giving to others. Thank you for being a part of that with me.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Most

  • Come Sit with Us!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. My students were so excited to open the boxes with me. Our new materials were put to use right away. My students loved seeing the new cozy chairs in our classroom. The three cozy chairs are now in our library center. The students love to have a turn sitting and reading books in the new chairs.

Our new bookcase is just right for our classroom library. Now that our library is organized with different reading baskets, it is easier to find the books that we want to read.”

  • Every Child is an Artist

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation towards our artist project. I believe that every child deserves the chance to express themselves through art and drawing. My students took to this and enjoyed having their own art journal. My students used these journeys after a hectic lunchtime or a loud recess environment. Having the crayons, markers, and art supplies helped them achieve the goal using art to relax and express themselves.

We received the materials at a time in the year when most of my students had finished their art journals and were looking for new ones. It was perfect timing!”

  • Bring Independent Learning to Our Ears!

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

I took a video of my students walking into the classroom and seeing our new headphones on their desks. It was pure joy and excitement! They immediately wanted to try them out and we did!

"They fit perfectly, they're so comfortable, the volume is great"! These were just some of the comments from my students.

My students use their laptops daily to work on independent projects, writing assignments, math problems and many other areas. These new headphones will help them do this in an easy and comfortable way.

Thank you for helping us reach our goal.”

  • Help Our Classroom Revolve Around Reading.

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

I wish I could capture the delight and happiness on my students faces as they saw the materials from this project. My students were so excited to recieve these amazing reading cushions. We have been using them in our classroom every day. We started a rotating system so that each student gets a chance to use them as many times as possible.

My students love reading with them during independent reading time.

They also love using them as a way to stretch or find a new position that helps them focus.

They are being put to good use in our classroom and we all say THANK YOU!!!!”

  • Climbing up the Social Emotional Ladder to Success!

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

My students and I look forward to reading our new books from the social emotional library. We have only been in school for a month and already we have read through many of them.

We are having thoughtful classroom discussions around very important topics such as recognizing your moods, following directions, making and keeping friends and many more! It's amazing to see how my students are connecting to the topics and themes in these books. I love hearing the connections that they are making to the characters in the stories or to the lessons being taught.

We are really working on our Social Emotional goals thanks to your donation.”

  • "Once You Learn to Read, You Will Be Forever Free."

    Funded Feb 12, 2023

I am extremely grateful for your generous donation to my classroom. Some of my students found the new books and started reading them before I had a chance to introduce the new materials and titles to them. There is no better feeling for a teacher than finding her students enveloped in their reading. It was so much fun watching them pick their favorite titles and series. We truly are a class of avid learners.

Your donations has helped expand our classroom library. I am grateful for your generosity and I can't wait to start book clubs with my students using our new materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Most

  • 1..2..3... It's Time to Record...

    Funded Nov 24, 2022

I am proud to teach in a school where have a collaborative theme across all the grades from Pre K to 8th grade! We aim to create a culture of care. Our favorite way to do this is by creating our own morning announcements for the students every Friday. Our office staff works with the students on all grade levels to teach dance and arts, record songs, and produce movies that highlight the children's spirits and love for our school. Your donation towards a new computer has given and will continue to give all the students in our school a chance to shine and announce every week... Happy Fri"yay"!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Most

My students are highly motivated youngsters who are eager to learn lots of new information! My school is a Title 1 school as most of my students come from poor economic backgrounds. We do not ask the parents for money when purchasing items or arranging trips for the students. As a first grade teacher, my students are energetic, happy, and yes-very lively!! The amount of English Language Learners in my room exceeds over 90% of the students. Learning the English language is a difficult task for them and I find that having a clear and organized set of routines helps them get used to the rules and expectations of my classroom.
