I teach a half-day inclusion 3 year-old program for young children with special needs, and typically-developing children. I have 12 students in the morning and 12 students in the afternoon. I love teaching the inclusion model and truly believe that all of my students benefit from being in an environment with children with and without disabilities. Every student has strengths and my goal is to capitalize on the unique strengths that each student brings to the classroom. I also love teaching the 3 year-old program because this is my students' first school experience, and I get to set the tone for the rest of their school career. I am fortunate to teach a literature-rich curriculum called Read it Once Again that allows children to become immersed in classic children's literature and use the literature in all activities throughout the day.
