These materials will make it possible for my students to use flexible seating in the classroom. They won't have to sit in a chair all day. The kiddos that need it to be super quiet, can sit in a corner on a balance chair where it is quiet. The kiddos that are social butterflies, they can sit in groups on the carpet or on the futon so they can talk quietly while they work. The kiddos who need structure, they can sit at a desk with a bouncy band and work by themselves. I want to give my students ownership in their learning! When students have the choice of where to sit they feel important and understood.
