I am a first year teacher and would love to grow my classroom library! The books that I have now were handed down to me from other teachers. I would love to have some new books for my students to read. My students' reading levels are growing very fast, which means they need a wider variety to choose from. The multicultural books are very important to me. I want my students to learn about the many different cultures around the world. I have many English Language Learners in my classroom and I would like to emphasize the importance of the different cultures around the world. My students spend so much time in the classroom library and I would love to see them be able to have a larger selection to choose from!
