  • Transformation Time!

    Funded Sep 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous support. I have wanted to do classroom transformations for years, and now, thanks to you, I have the materials I need. I plan to do these transformations closer to the end of the year, so I don't have pics of the actual changes yet. First, I plan to do a NEON math party. We will be practicing our numbers, building towers, and working on addition and subtracting. Second, I am going to do CAMP READS ALOT during the last week of school. I will turn the desks into tents for the students to read. We now have campfires to set out and everything to bring the outdoors into our classroom. Again a HUGE THANK YOU!!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lester

  • Simply Supplies!

    Funded Jan 17, 2022

Thank you so very much for your generous donations. Many of these supplies were used in our Holiday celebration. Students rotated through various stations to create all types of projects. We had a total of six stations. The first was a winter scene the students painted on wood rounds. The second was an editable Christmas tree. They also created a ribbon tree, clothespin snowmen, cookie reindeer, and donut snowmen. This amazing experience would have been difficult to provide without your help. Thank you for always thinking of our little ones!”

  • A Little This, A Little That

    Funded Jun 8, 2021

This project has been so crucial to getting our classroom up and running this year. The students use the folders everyday for home to school communication. We use the easel pads each day to create anchor chart to help progress our learning.

All of these items have been essentials we would not have had without you! We use the whiteboards during small group time to practice everything from writing name and words to practicing our math facts. The stapler is so amazing and make creating class books a breeze.

Again thank you so much for all of your amazing donations!”

  • Keep Data Simple

    Funded Jul 12, 2021

Thank you so very much for your generous donations. ESGI is a is a program where students can test and data is collected real time. It makes keeping track of all the things so simple not only for me but the children as well.

It's so nice to have a program that the children love using as much as I do. They love to come to my table to show me what they know. This program has several amazing features such as plotting data points for progress monitoring and Parent letters. It will create parent letters in their home language showing what the student has mastered as well as what they need to work on.

Again thank you so much for helping be able to have such a great program!”

  • STEAMing Into Learning!

    Funded Jun 14, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations. Our classroom now has full set of STEAM bins. Each child can choose from a variety of materials to build various items such as bridges, buildings and a wide selection of other items.

My kindergarten students love to do anything hands on and be creative. They come alive when they are experimenting with different materials and tasks. The bin are in sturdy containers that will hopefully last for years to come.

Again thank you so much for your kind support.”

  • Bring on the Basics!

    Funded Mar 23, 2021

Thank you so very much for your wonderful donations. It is withheld from people like you we are able to provide our students with opportunities and experiences we might not have been able to provide otherwise. The students use the clipboards several times a week. The fidget materials are wonderful for those who just need to take a break and gather themselves. The beautiful decor has made our room so warm and inviting. The classroom is our happy place. We spend so much time here it is nice to have a room we are all proud of and happy to call our class.”

  • Preparing to Pivot

    Funded Dec 30, 2020

Thank you so much for your help. This has been a crazy year. This project has proved to be one of the most beneficial so far. Not long after this project we actually had to pivot back to remote teaching. The document camera made teaching from home so much easier. I was able to work problems in real time and share with my students just like I would have in the classroom. The chart paper, markers and all other items allowed me to give quality instruction that would have been so much harder without your help. Again, a huge thank you for all of your support and help.”

  • I Can't Hear You!

    Funded Dec 29, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous support. We have had to switch back and forth between in-person and remote learning this year. The headphones allow the students to focus and block out distractions while at home. They have been wonderful in online testing to allow students to hear the test and focus on what they are doing. It was so amazing to have you support to provide these headphones to my students. Without your hep it would not have been possible. Again thank you so much for your support.”

  • Together But Apart

    Funded Oct 1, 2020

Thank you so very much for your generosity. We were blessed with a brand new school over Christmas break. Your donations have helped to create a wonderful classroom. The pencil boxes were a huge help in students keeping their supplies separate from each other. The pizza boxes will be used to store all of the wonderful art and creations we make at school. Sadly we have not been able to return to school, but I have been able to provide quality, engaging lessons for home with items you helped to purchase. Again thank you so very much!”

  • Learning Through Play

    Funded Sep 21, 2020

Thank you so very much for your generosity. Play is such an important part of learning and development. It is so exciting that our new language arts program has play built in. With your amazing help I was able to get a wide variety of toys and manipulatives for my students. They have greatly enjoyed the animals, blocks and puppets purchased. They are able to use their imaginations and be creative in a way that only play allows. Again thank you so very much for all of your help and support especially during these crazy and uncertain times.”

I want to be able to give my sweet babies a Kindergarten year they will never forget. To start that year off right we need some multicultural art supplies. I have a very diverse group of students and we desperately need multi cultural supplies. When my Kinders draw and write about themselves and their families I want them to be able to draw them using colors that best match them. I want to be able to bring diversity in all we do. At the Kindergarten level craft and art are a big part of our learning. I love seeing a student get excited when they find the perfect crayon to match their skin or hair color.
