  • Play and Learn!

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Mil gracias, thank you for the support you provided for my students. They had a blast playing as they learned about building and experimenting with shapes to build the tallest tower. Students find the materials donated to be supper fun but challenging. Students did not only work as a team, they built on each other's ideas as they tried to build the tallest tower. The conversations and planning stimulated their little minds to build something tall but sturdy. Many expressed that this activity was challenging because they could not get the structure to stand alone. Overall, they they learn while having fun.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rosario

  • The Mighty Lions Reading Challenge Needs Your Help

    Funded Jan 4, 2024

I can't believe you made this a reality!

We had a total of 37 students complete the Mighty Lions Reading Challenge and it was amazing. Students worked hard for two months to complete the challenge. One thing we strived to do was to differentiate the reading challenge to include students with special needs and learning disabilities. We also translated the challenge to Spanish to include them in this competition. Further, students who completed the challenge came down to the library to enjoy a day of fun and pizza. Many students expressed that they had a lot of fun during our reading celebration. They enjoyed the snacks as well as the gifts they got from our donors.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rosario

    Funded Jan 13, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations. You will make the students of my school extremely happy and curious. These STEAM materials will serve kids by providing them a chance to explore and connect ideas.

Once again we thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible for our students.”

  • Library in Action!

    Funded Sep 9, 2022

Thank you to all donors for your kind and generous support. I can attest that students enjoy using the resources provided by this project. The voice amplifier has helped with students' class presentations. The colorful floor tiles are just a delight for students to distress as they wait to check out books, amazingly enough, it has been very well-liked by teachers as well.

Further, students have put to good use the floor chairs as they sit to read in the library, participate in small group instruction, and receive counseling services. It has made the library a more attractive and welcoming environment for students, I can honestly attest that this is a goal met.

I believe that the biggest hit has been the floor tiles. The first time students saw them, students did not want to get off them. It is amazing how small details can make a big impact.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rosario
