My Super Scholars are and incredible group of students who begin every day chanting "Grow Your Brain!" and "Work Hard, Get Smart!" They are a diverse group of children who do not worry about color, background, race, clothes, size or gender... they are a family. All the students are below the poverty line, yet still come to school with smiles on their faces. They are dancers, singers, writers, readers, but most of all, learners. They love learning and helping each other 'grow their brains.' What is most amazing about my class is their ability to accept new people, new students and new situations. Their social skills are so strong and their academic skills may be even stronger!
