My classroom has been given the incredible opportunity to utilize dry-erase tables instead of desks. This promotes collaboration, creativity, and an overall better workspace. They also allow room for transformations and celebrations, which we often use to celebrate and enhance learning and engagement. However, it means that the organization of my classroom must change. The organization and flow within a classroom is crucial to the atmosphere, culture, management, and overall learning that takes place within. I would love to purchase these cubes to help my students stay organized and have their materials readily available. These would benefit my classroom workspace and my students in tremendous ways! Students will be able to have their notebooks, reading materials, and math journals readily accessible which will increase instructional time and make it easier for them to learn with what they need. They will spend less time "digging" for materials and more time exploring, discovering, and learning the content. The cubes will give the students their own spaces to store their belongings safely and the confidence to organize and prepare, especially since I am preparing my students to do such tasks independently as they move on to middle school.
