  • Writing in Pre-K

    Funded Apr 3, 2023

Thank you for your generous donation for our writing center! My kids have enjoyed using different writing utensils in the classroom. They were so excited to open the box and get to work. My kids really love to use markers!

I truly appreciated getting a laminator and some laminating sheets for our classroom! I have been able to make our station materials more durable and will be saving them for future uses. Another big hit in my classroom was the crayon sharpener! It has saved me so many colors! students are able to make their crayon look like new and not have them put it in our communal pile.

Again thank you so so much for your generous donations!”

  • Pre-K Learning Life Skills Through Play

    Funded Nov 22, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. My students were so excited to learn they were going to be getting new materials to use during our independent learning centers.

I received my boxes in the afternoon and decided to wait to open them with my students. They were cheering and saying "WOW!"

I have used some materials during centers and that was a hit. My students kept wanting to go back to "play" with the new materials.

Their favorite was the blocks. Our previous block center only had 30 pieces, which isn't much but they made it work. Putting our new set they were so excited to have so many and make their creations larger.

    Thank you!”

  • Hands on Learning for Pre-K

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my project. My class was so excited to see what was inside the boxes of the materials we received. We have explored some materials and they loved them! Their favorite is the pop-it ten frames and blocks. I have put some materials out for some workstations and they always get excited to go to blocks. They build different things depending on the theme. For the month of January the theme was community helpers and they were building places in our community. It is so nice watching them interact and get excited to show off their builds!

Thank you again, I truly appreciate it and I know my students do too!”

  • Pre-K Artists

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

Thank you so so much for your generous donations to my classroom list! I truly appreciate it and I know my students do too. They were so excited to receive the material and unboxing it was just as fun!

The kids have really enjoyed getting to use the materials during independent workstation time. It is a very popular station. The kids are open to creating their own painting and are always super exited to show me what they painted.

Again thank you so much! I can't wait to make the art station more enjoyable with all the new material.”

  • Resources for Pre-K Learning

    Funded Jul 25, 2022

thank you so much for your generous donation! I was so excited to be able to purchase multiple resources for the different subjects I teach. I know my students get so excited when there is new material out for work stations and having these gift cards I am able to purchase bundles of center material for the year!

I am so excited to see my wish list and start purchasing resources. I know they are going to make a great addition for my classroom and I will be able to get different types of resources that could benefit all my students.”

    Ms. Garza

  • Pre-K Is Colorful

    Funded Apr 22, 2022

Thank you so so much for your generous donation for the printer! It has been such a game changer for our centers. Out with the boring black and white and say hello to color!

The printer has been great on saving ink. I was able to print out my classroom theme for the school year. My kids have enjoyed seeing the alphabet in rainbow colors as well as other things I have posted.

Since this is an ECO printer I have been able to print my students homework in color just so they could get more excited.

    Again thank you so much!”

  • Supplies for Our Pre-K Friends

    Funded Mar 4, 2022

My friends got so excited when I opened the boxes to show them all the nice things we received! they were so excited and wanted me to build the things right away!

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We have been using the materials in our classroom to be more organized and have our resources last longer. The sheet protectors are being put to good use for our independent center time activities for both literacy and math.

The pocket chart stands are currently being used to hold up our center signs for rotations. And the other is for using at our art easel to hold the vocabulary they could use as a visual when working at that station.

    Again thank you so much!”

    Funded Apr 12, 2021

thank you so much for the generous donations for my classroom. the students were so excited when we received the boxes towards the end of the year. when I started pulling out the material they were eager to open and see the material. some even asked to do workstations then and there to get to "play".

These materials were so helpful and made an impact on everyone in my class regardless of their academic levels.

I will be using these materials in my classroom with my new incoming friends. I am sure they are going to love their materials.

  • Social Emotional in Pre-K!

    Funded Oct 1, 2020

Thank you so much for the generous donations! The laminating sheets have been such a huge help to make their workstations sturdy and easy to clean. We have had to limit things that go in the workstations because of the pandemic. The bookshelf I had to get as a replacement and has been such a good organization for our week's read aloud.

My students love the rainbow caddy because it matches our classroom theme. They really like the conversation questions for closing circle because it is always a surprise on what the question will be.

    thank you again!”

  • iPads for Pre-K!

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

First off, thank you so so much for the generous donations I have received from all you! Because my project got funded I was able to help support my kids in the classroom during this pandemic.

These iPads have came in such great use during our workstation time to help complete work from Imagine Learning Literacy and Imagine Math. Some kids did not have an iPad or tablet in class. There was also a shortage in technology devices, not just here but over the district.

Again I really appreciate the contributions you made to help me complete this project!

    Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Garza

In order for students to become independent I must have them become responsible for taking care of their own bag where they will carry their math journal and work throughout their workstation rotations. I selected sand timers to be used during workstations or if someone needs to take a cool off time they are able to use them to relax. Some students learn visually and/or auditory from books, while others learn kinesthetically fro hands-on materials. The books I have selected can be useful in the classroom for the students who learn from seeing or hearing the book. I selected hands-on ten-frames and an addition game that students will love to use during the whole group lesson or when they are at their workstations.
