Our students have a disability and many of them deal with, if not directly then indirectly, focusing and paying attention. There has been research that has shown to improve student learning when there is a creative outlet from students to expend their energy, especially when they are unable to during P.E. or recess time. Not only that, many need a stress relief due to their frustrations knowing that they have difficulties in learning the standards. They can clearly see when their classmates are able to perform tasks that they are unable to and need break times to reset themselves. That is was the bubble wrap is for. All of these items can also be used as an incentive for them to complete tasks expected of them.
