  • Happy Birthday to You!

    Funded Mar 4, 2025

Thank you so much for your continued support! This project was extra special for my students because it gave them items for their special day! Their birthdays should be a big deal and it was very generous of you to help me fulfill this celebration for them! On their birthday, the students get a goodie bag of all the items from the project! Something so small to many, mean the world to the students. Each student also gets a birthday book, filled with cards from each of the students in the class. This is the highlight of their birthday, to see what their friends had to say to them! My students appreciate all the generosity from complete strangers and thank you from the bottom of their hearts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Grist

  • Mathematical Resources

    Funded Feb 7, 2025

Thank you for always supporting my classroom! Instructional resources for every child's level is hard to achieve without the opportunity to buy them myself. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card is going to allow me to get resources for my ESL student, my students who are still working on Kindergarten math skills, and my students who are above grade level. During the year, these resources add up in costs, so this gift card will allow me to provide my students with other items they will need. Thank you for your continued generosity.”

  • Extra Pants

    Funded Feb 5, 2025

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. These items will benefit so many of our students. Your assistance gives us the opportunity we needed to enhance their health and physical knowledge. I am certain these supplies will also help to boost our students' engagement and ability to complete hands-on tasks as well as increase students' achievement. Again, thank you for your generosity and support. We are looking forward to using our new pants on days when accidents may happen. We are so grateful for your donation!”

  • Cozy Hats and Gloves

    Funded Dec 29, 2024

Thank you for your donations! My students loved the new hats and gloves they received. Here in Ohio, it is just starting to get cold so these came at a perfect time for them. So many of my students walk to school or wait for the bus and with the temperatures getting colder, these items will definitely help them stay warmer. It was amazing to watch them all pick out their favorite colors and decide which set to pick. The students were very surprised but also very excited to receive these new items. Thank you again for your generosity in making my projects come to life.”

  • Mental Health Matters

    Funded Sep 15, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting this project! Mental Health is so important for all kids to learn about. I am so excited to be able to implement these lessons in my classroom because of your generous donation. Mental health is important for students in the classroom because it can impact their ability to learn, develop, and achieve their goals. Research shows that there is a strong link between a student's mental health and their academic success. Your kindness is appreciated more than you can imagine. Thank you!”

  • Summer Fun

    Funded Jul 28, 2024

Thank you for your donations. A good quality classroom is significant for the bright future of the students and building a healthy society. One of the most effective methods to make students interested in school is reinforcement and friendly communication. The end of the year gifts are appropriate reinforcement to get motivation in class. When the students feel enjoyment towards the class, their latent talents develop radically. These items are going to be a reminder to the students on how much they are appreciated and fun we had throughout the year. Thank you again for your continued support to my classroom.”

  • Basic School Supplies

    Funded Aug 11, 2024

Thank you so much for being a continued supporter of my classroom! Basic supplies are everyday items that we use in the classroom. My students come from homes where these basic supplies are a struggle to get. With the help of wonderful donors like yourself, I am able to make sure my students have these supplies to succeed in the classroom. These items add up quickly when you have 25 students in a classroom, so any help that we get is appreciated. My students love getting the packages and seeing what new supplies they will get to use. We truly appreciate your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

  • Science Fun

    Funded May 20, 2024

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! My students are going to be so excited to use these new pieces of equipment for our science projects. The elementary educational environment plays a key role in student learning.

High-quality elementary science education is essential for establishing a sound foundation of learning in later grades, instilling a wonder of and enthusiasm for science that lasts a lifetime, and in addressing the critical need for a well-informed citizenry and society. Science is a hands-on subject and my students were not getting the full experience, but thanks to your generosity we can now go exploring!”

  • Healthy Supplies

    Funded May 20, 2024

Thank you for your continued support to my classroom! A healthy classroom makes for a successful classroom. This time of year is when we share all kinds of germs and with your help we will be able to cut down on that sharing. We teach the students that sharing is a positive thing to do, but not with illnesses. The weather is changing here in Ohio, and many of my students haven't changed their attire yet which is causing them to get sick. Thank you so much for helping keep us safe and healthy with these new supplies. We truly appreciate your generosity.”

Math facts are important because they form the building blocks for higher-level math concepts. When a child masters their math facts, these concepts will be significantly easier, and the student will be better equipped to solve them faster. Math fact fluency is the ability to quickly and accurately recall the answer to basic math facts. To be considered fluent, students should no longer need to rely on strategies such as counting on their fingers or drawing models to compute. In third grade, students must fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction. Knowing their math facts will allow them to answer questions more efficiently.
