The supplies will help students learn real-world job skills in our entry-level job skills prep program for my students with severe cognitive disabilities to transition to employment. Vacuuming rugs, dusting furniture, sharpening pencils and running a cash register, are just some of the skills my students are learning to transition to employment. The program has training bays with equipment to teach an entry-level job skill. Students learn to vacuum and dust in preparation to work in a hotel environment. Students practice running a cash register, shredder, pencil sharpening and other office machines to gain office experience.
