  • Do You Know How Fossils Are Formed?

    Thanks to you, my second grade students have been enjoying their love for painting and coloring using the materials you have donated. Recently, they learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and created a poster with the watercolor paper. They wrote positive words and used watercolor to make bright posters.

    They also used the color sticks for their habitat books and trioramas. As you can see, the details in their art work show how involved they were in this project.

    Additionally, they used the model magic to sculpt animals and habitats for their trioramas. They look forward to painting them next. My class has really enjoyed these supplies this year. We are truly thankful for your support!”

  • Do You Have Big Feelings?

    The Spot books have introduced ways that students can understand all of the different emotions they experience. It gives action steps for scenarios that the kids can take. When the students can relate, they are eager to share their experiences.

    I have silent sustained reading daily in my class. There is a bookshelf designated for the Spot books, and the students choose to read these books every day. Interest is high! I also do read alouds with them, and it warms my heart to see their excitement when I pull out a Spot book.

    I have readers with different genre interests, but one thing all of the students have in common is that they love reading these books. Thank you!”

With quality, comfortable headphones, all students will be able to hear lessons from resources used in our classroom. Also, they will be able to adjust the size and volume of the headphones to meet their needs. Each student will be responsible for headphones given to them. Students will be able to successfully work in the computer lab and in our classroom on differentiated lessons and have improved access to state tests. My students have had their current earbuds for two years and the issue is that they hurt their ears because of the fit and there are also volume issues. Not all students have earbuds because over the two years, they have broken. These new headphones will provide a way for students to work successfully without distractions. They will be able to maintain their focus and complete assignments.
