A color printer with ink cartridges is a vital need for our functional life skills classroom full of visual learners. In our program, our students take all of their core academic courses, as well as courses in vocational training, community-based instruction, independent living, transition, cooking, social skills, rec and leisure, and more. We use materials printed in color within each of these courses, and in every aspect of our program, including leveled books, token boards, social stories, communication boards, vocabulary words, file folder sorts, pictures, PECs, visuals, task analysis, etc. The list is endless! Materials and visual aids printed in color would allow our students to increase their depth of understanding of new material. In addition, our materials are often laminated and reused, and would therefore benefit students for years to come. Thank you for your support!
