  • Mastering Our Skills In Beauty

    It gives me great pleasure that I express my deepest gratitude for the items you provided for my class and students. The excitement was and still is over whelming as my students are allowed to use those items in helping other student glamorize themselves for cap and gown pictures, senior breakfast, and homecoming especially for those students that are less fortunate.

    My students had the ability to provide nail services with the gel lamps, make-up, and hot curl students hair for picture taking day. These are activities that students participate in every week during lab-day. They are required by the state to perform a certain amount of services in each category such as hair, nails, and facials.

    We are making great strides as we continue to practice and prepare for future events and activities. Some of the upcoming activities will be Grad Bash, Teacher's appreciation, and Prom just to name a few. These items will allow more students to participate and master their skills.”

  • Service Is What We Do

    My students reaction to having products and tools to use as they learned new skills was almost overwhelming. They were able to use the items t o enhance their skills inside the classroom and outside the classroom. Our next steps are to continue to practice our skills until a level of mastery is reached. We are looking forward to providing services for students on and teachers on our campus, and then the public. Without your help and donations of these items, our services would be limited and for that: we are grateful.”

  • Styling for the Future

    I must first mention our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the new resources my students have received thus far. I believe as long as the students have the tools and products needed to learn; then the overall desired outcome will be reached.

    As an added teaching tool, the books are easy to use, colorful, and assist the students with choosing correct color combinations which makes my job easier. For the students that are taking a special interest in make-up; the books give them a closer look at step by step make-up application techniques, and skin care.

    My goal along with the students, is to find their niche and master it, with confidence and focusing on providing customer satisfaction. I am committed to pointing our students in the direction of a prosperous career in the beauty industry.”

On the other hand, those students not attending college will have the opportunity to leave high school as a licensed professional.These students have great potential, however, they lack the tools and supplies needed and required to participate in hands-on learning, and home learning assignments.
