Our classroom is a safe and wonderful place to learn and grow but as we have discovered it has one unfortunate fall back and that is storage. By adding book cases and rolling storage carts, we will no longer have to step over learning materials and crowd corners of the room with books and other projects. By having rolling carts set up next to our seating we can reduce transition time between subjects and have all of our material ready at hand. The book cases will be the new home to the over four hundred chapter books and encyclopedias that our class loves to use for reading and research, By having book cases we can utilize floor space for more projects. We are excited to think that rolling three tier carts will soon house learning materials such as notebooks, folders, supplies and current reading material and bookcases will house our all of our books instead of piling them in a corner.
