My students in the middle school would be ecstatic to hear that we are receiving flag belts for football because they have been asking me, non-stop, about when we are going to start our football unit. I always respond with "when we get flag belts because there's no chance we are playing touch (it will turn into tackle). With these flags we can start our unit and make sure it is much more safe so no students get injured opposed to a touch game possible getting wild, with tensions rising through competition, and turning into a tackle game. Parachutes would be amazing for my elementary game because we will have the ability to give these students an experience that they have never had before, let alone even see. It will also help me out in my curriculum with my younger students because it allows me to use the colors as patterns and use of motion and waves with the parachute for rhythm.
