My students are in need of a new set of 70+ new fiction and non-fiction books and old classics to add to our school library. My students love new books to read. It is the highlight of the library. With funds being cut to the library they are in desperate need of the new library books. The library is the heart of the school and the students thrive with new books. The students' love of reading and new books carry them through their lives and education. My students do better in all subjects when they are proficient readers. Every student has a special interest in reading. I strive to get a variety of books for all the students, kindergarten through 8th grade, that visit the library.
