At the end of every week, all of my students contribute to our classroom newsletter by writing about something they learned or experienced throughout the week. Pictures of various achievements and experiences are also included in the newsletter. The students take a lot of pride in the final product because they helped create it. They look forward to taking it home to share with their families. A color printer will allow the students to share a bright, colorful newsletter with their families, and parents can see exactly what their students are learning and enjoying each week. It is also a means of communicating what events are coming up in the future. The newsletter is a great way to share our program with parents and community business partners.
