In my fourth grade classroom, we take risks. We are always ready and willing to try something new! We pride ourselves on failure because we know that those mistakes are how we grow. I aim to provide personalized learning for all students so they can get the most out of their learning. We also spend a lot of time determining what kind of learners we all are so we can play on those strengths to enhance our learning. We have several great materials that we use to support us throughout our day including one-to-one chromebooks, however we are hoping to bring more hands-on activities and projects into our classroom, which is why our main hope is to build a makerspace, and be able to supply the materials students need to complete projects. We have been testing the waters and exploring design thinking through the Launch cycle which students identify and solve problems, but also prototype their solutions. We love to learn!
