My Project To promote community building activities within our school we have monthly House meetings in which all students K-5; meet to play games, laugh, learn, and build a strong team outside of their grade-level. By bringing all these different students together; it gives students a chance to be role models or to have role models to look up to that are outside of their current grade level. At these monthly meetings we like to play minute to win it games, create art, and build relationships together. The requested art materials will allow our students to be able to continue to create art (which happens to be their favorite activity). For our February project we would like to make Love Bugs to give to someone special in their life that they care about. I believe that art not only inspires each individual student to find their own creativity but also opens their hearts to kindness and giving to others through visual displays.
