My classroom is a place where I strive to create engaging, individualized and differentiated instruction for all of my students. Having Chromebooks helps me to do just that! Students are more engaged when completing student directed assignments with technology. They will be able to create projects that demonstrate their learning in different content areas and be able to research topics of interest to them. Chromebooks will allow my students to be creative with content that they are passionate about during classroom projects such as book reviews and creating their own books and during our campus wide Genius Hour. With chromebooks, students are engaged in self directed learning which allows them to use creativity to showcase their thoughts and knowledge. These chromebooks help struggling readers read higher level reading materials through the Chromebook accessibility features. They also allow fast-finishers to access online content that is both engaging and challenging. This allows me more time to work with small groups and individual students to allow for a more personalized learning environment.
