  • Sense of Unity and Belonging

    Funded Feb 13, 2025

Your support of my students means the world to me! Without it, I would not be able to give my students these wonderful t-shirts. The sense of belonging and encouragement that they will feel will all be due to you. Your generosity inspires me every day. Thank you so very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Watch Them Grow

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

My students have loved the new grow lights! So far we have only been growing some tomato plants to see if they will produce tomatoes in our classroom. The tomatoes are so tall and the students love to come in and check out how much they have grown. They also love looking to see if they can find any blossoms. (Don't tell them it is too early, that would ruin their excitement of checking each day!) When we get the peat pellets, the students will be able to start their own plants that they can take home. Thank you for gifting excitement to my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Small Group Needs

    Funded Dec 25, 2024

Thank you so very much for supporting my classroom and my students! Your generous donation will go to helping my students at their level so that they can have success. Meeting the students where they are at is essential for their growth. Your help has made that possible and I appreciate it!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Keep it Simple

    Funded Jul 1, 2024

It is wonderful to be able to create a clean and well organized learning space for my students. Due to your wonderful and generous donation, I was able to do just that. I was able to use the magnetic dividers to section off part of the white board in the front of our room. It makes thing very clear for students to be able to see. I also love to be able to display books that we are reading in class as mentor read alouds, for the students to easily see and access. Now students know right were to go to look at the book for a second or third time.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Anchor Our Learning

    Funded Jan 12, 2024

With the money you graciously donated we were able to purchase several magnetic bulletin boards for our room. These boards are large and cover a nice amount of the boring white walls. Students are able to quickly look at the bulletin board to see rules for grammar and spelling to assist them with their writing. They are also able to make math posters and post them. Since the posters are hung with magnets, it is super easy and fast to change them out when needed. Students are able to go up and hang their posters without any assistance. These bulletin boards will last for many years and help so many students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Perfect Fit

    Funded Nov 3, 2023

Students come with all different ability levels. So why would we only have one level of reading passages for students? Your generous donation helped solve that problem. With your donation, I was able to purchase reading passages at all different levels for our small group reading lessons. The wonderful part is these reading passages match the same skill that we are working on in our whole group lessons.

These items give students the ability to practice their reading skill, like making inferences, with reading passages at their level. It is easier for students to find success when their reading passage matches their reading ability. Thank you again for making that possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Spice it Up

    Funded Aug 23, 2023

With the money that you donated, I was able to purchase a lot of different materials for my students to use. I was able to purchase some math activities that students can use to reinforce their math skills. The wonderful thing about this resource is that the skills spiral and are practiced over and over. This way they do not forget skills that they have already learned while they are focusing on learning new skills. With each sheet only containing 10 problems, it is not overwhelming for students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • New and Exciting!

    Funded Apr 21, 2023

I am so blessed that you have graciously given to our classroom. With the money you have donated I was able to purchase reading materials for my students to use during social studies time. We currently do not have any social studies materials or textbooks. It is pretty hard to find materials that are specific to Wisconsin history that are at a reading level appropriate for fourth graders. These materials are not only age and skill appropriate, but they are also engaging and interesting to read. My students now enjoy reading about Wisconsin history and it is all because of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Relaxed to Learn

    Funded Mar 31, 2023

I am so thankful for generous donors like you. Because of wonderful people like you, my students now have a more relaxing classroom. Before the overhead lights were so harsh and were too intense. Now, with these light covers, the intensity of the lights has diminished. Now when you enter the room it is now more relaxed and there is a sense of calm. Students have mentioned to me that they now have less headaches. When students are relaxed and do not have headaches, it is easier for them to learn. This is all because of you!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

  • Bright Art

    Funded Mar 6, 2023

Because of your generous donation of art supplies, my students were able to enjoy a wonderful time painting beautiful pictures in class. The students were so excited when they found out we were going to paint in class! This project gave students a chance to show off their abilities in a way that was different than traditional academic learning. They were able to use their creativity to draw and paint a painting of a flower. These paintings are now on display in the hallways for everyone in the school to enjoy as well. Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to create these paintings!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. O.

As a school with high levels of poverty, it is important to level the playing field so that all students are given the same chances to excel and shine. I want to provide all of my students an opportunity to collaborate and investigate through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). My students love working as a team to solve problems. I want to create an environment that fosters that collaboration and communication. One that encourages chance taking and lesson learning when things don't go as they had planned.
