The processes we can explore with a 3D printer will deepen their learning and push them to explain the reasoning they have behind a design.     Thank you so much for your generous donation! This was my first Donors Choose Project to be funded. My students were so excited to see the big boxes when they were delivered to our classroom. They were even more excited when they saw what was inside and that it was for them! Many of my students are English Language Learners (ELLs) and these games and resources have helped them tremendously! The resources have helped with not only learning their sounds and letters but they have also helped with their growing vocabulary. Many of the games and resources included pictures which are very helpful for ELLS. Also these games and resources have given my students the ability to work independently. Thank you again so much for your donation, you have made my students extremely happy and excited to learn!”

I am a special education teacher that understands the importance of providing my students with the materials they need to focus and to help them improve. Many times, my students and I do not like to work at the student desks for various reasons. Many of the student’s desks vary in height which makes it difficult to work side by side. Also, some of the desk are very large which makes it difficult to navigate around. With my students being 2nd graders, they like to be closer to each other because it helps them share their ideas with each other, sometimes when they are far apart it is hard to hear each other. If we receive this small work space bundle, my students and I will have the opportunity to work on a flat table surface rather than the floor. This will only help enhance their learning abilities. Flexible seating fosters thinking and allowing students to be comfortable while working. They can place these handy cushions on the floor or on a chair, for flexible seating anywhere. These chairs and cushions are designed to let students wiggle and wobble while they sit…helping children focus as they move. Also, my students will be able to use the work space bundle chairs for independent and cool downs options. Sometimes just being able to take a wobble chair, a cushion, or a different seat allows my students to feel like they are independent and can decide what their best learning style is!
