Imagine a room full of 13-15 year old kids, 12:00 p.m. after recess. It was 92 degrees outside. The recess block- about 20 minutes. Not a pleasant thought?! The reality of this scenario is an everyday occurrence in most middle school classrooms each day.
Students need to have the resources to take care of their bodies before they can truly take care of their minds!
In order for the classroom to be a conducive learning environment for all, it is important to address the physical and social needs of our kiddos.
The goal of this project is provide feminine products and deoderant for those students who do not have the means to purchase products to keep them clean.
This project also includes snacks for those students who need a little boost during the day.
