I teach a 3rd-5th Autism Support Class at a Title One elementary school. While all of the students in my classroom have autism, their diagnosis does not define them. My students are the some of the most inspiring, motivating, and hard-working students I have ever met. I am amazed everyday by their passion for education and love for life. The goal of my classroom is to prepare my students to integrate into general education classrooms with their same aged neurotypical peers. With your help to obtain the right materials to teach each individual student in the way he learns best, we will be able to accomplish our goals!
