I warmly welcome students with attention and hyperactivity challenges, socio-emotional challenges, and self-regulation challenges into my fully inclusive classroom. Currently, I do not have enough sensory tools to support the level of activity, stimuli control, and varying levels of focused movement these students need to fully attend to instruction and maintain focus on the academically demanding tasks provided to them daily. They try the best they can, but they deserve more, and better. I ama sking for two Exercise Ball Chairs, two Stability Balls, five sets of Bouncy Bands for Desks, five pairs of Safe n Sound Kids Earmuffs, six Hand Grip Strengtheners, three sets of Tangle Jr. Original Fidget Toys and a paack of Ring Fidget Toys. Special seating tools, noise canceling headphones, and hand fidget tools will provide my students with appropriate levels of support to fully and confidently participate in classroom activities and ultimately reach their full potential! Students ask for these tools on a regular basis but have been sharing just a handful of sensory tools that are old and barely functioning. I know students' hearts and minds will light up if our classroom receives these tools and will delight in the fact that all students will have the opportunity to get what they need to fully achieve.
