  • Headphones for Kinders

    Funded May 10, 2024

    I want to thank you for your contribution to our classroom. These headphones have helped students to stay focused on their learning programs, while minimizing the distractions around them. Students are able to stay focused while I am working in small groups. Our room is a calm and peaceful during this time which optimizes learning.

    We are also able to use these headphones I. Our listening center where students can listen to stories independently.

  • Read Along Books for Kinders!

    I can not thank you enough for your generous donation to our classroom! My students have been enjoying our listening center everyday as part of our literacy time. It has been such a big hit and they love when they are introduced to a new book from the collection you have donated. Currently, students are reading along to "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats. Because of your donation my students have daily access to new stories, vocabulary, and are building their independence. Your donation will impact students for years to come.”

  • Future Readers and Writers!

    I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your generous donation. With these new tools in our classroom, my students are flourishing in their reading and writing skills.

    Our new white boards are used every morning as part of our spelling practice routine. Students also use these boards to practice writing sentences. Since one side of the white boards are blank, we have also incorporated them in our math time.

    With the leveled readers, my students are able to choose books at their appropriate level. Students are now able to read independently during their library center. I am seeing great strides in their reading, writing, and confidence.”
