I am asking for picture books for my classroom. Studies have shown that being read to is important at any age. I want to get picture books for my students to read as well as for me to read to them. Picture books are amazing resources for teaching many different reading skills. I want to be able to read a picture book almost every day to both my 5th graders and 6th graders. I will be able to teach many of our reading standards through these picture books. I have also picked many diverse picture books so all of my students see main characters that are just like them!
