The new rug will allow my students to focus on their learning by giving them the ability to sit in their own space without worrying about personal space. It will allow for learning of letters, numbers and colors as well. The oval shape will give us a chance to participate in class circles which helps with social emotional development. Students will learn how to speak and respond to each other in a respectful manner. The seat sacks will allow my students to keep their things near as we have tables in our room. Having their own personal space is important.
