Seniors need classroom sets of books. Our current collections are tattered and missing many copies. Students deserve a complete class set of novels. I would like to order my students a fresh set of Native Son, as well as a new book we are teaching this year, American Street. Students need to take home books frequently, and with enough copies this can become a reality. I firmly believe equity in learning can bridge gaps and level the playing field in CPS. Our students deserve better than to be sharing worn out books!

About my class
