Our classroom computers are very old and don't work. As a class, we use several curricula such as Accelerated Reader, Reading A to Z, and many other sites.These online tools are very important to our class because we want to incorporate STEM strategies in all our learning. We are trying to learn new programs that are on Chrome but the old computers can no longer run the programs. The old operating system are not supported by the current software and are obsolete. Furthermore, the old computers cannot update either. The cost of the new computers is prohibitive, so we are going with the networking. The network will allow the students to access online resources. My students will be able to use them for research projects, both written and orally. It will also help them practice with other subjects. The convenience of having a small computer will help when students work in small groups at their table. The transportability from small group to whole group will be easy for them while sharing among each other during lessons and projects.
