I teach twenty of the most amazing five & six year-olds at Margaret Winn Holt Elementary in Gwinnett County. My students are always eager to learn & one of my favorite things about being their teacher is how excited they get when they learn something new . . . how their eyes light up as their reading skills improve with each new day. Our school is a Title I school & 80% of students enrolled qualify for free & reduced lunch. 40% of the students in my class are ELL (English Language Learners). One of my wishes for all of my students is for them to have a variety of resources available to them, including technology, in order to foster a love of literacy. Having iPads available to them in order to access the plethora of online literacy resources would be most beneficial & contribute to their love of reading. Please consider helping fulfill my wish for my students.
