    thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! having these ipads in my classroom has helped out tremendously with my guided reading groups. the students are actively engaged in learn how to perfect their writing, learning to spell words on their level that they can make them a better reader, and some other fun educational games.

    Most of my students do not have laptops or computers are home. so using a electronic device at school is so COOL for them.

My students work in small groups--some independent. Having iPads available for them with interactive games and activities at their varied skill levels will allow them each to grow from their current knowledge base. Students can choose activities based on their personal interest and skill levels, which will then boost learning while having fun! These apps are engaging and promote the necessary skills for becoming solid readers. For instance, apps for phonemic awareness, handwriting, letter recognition and sounds, in addition to many other emerging reading skills, are available. Using this form of technology will enhance their ability of future technology success.

About my class
