This sensory project needs touch screen laptops and a projector to enhance the students' learning and interactive skills. As a guidance counselor, I facilitate numerous small groups of students with a plethora of learning disabilities and/or special needs. Most of my students are visual learners and they enjoy participating in computerized activities. For example, some of my small groups would be learning about the 4 Types of Bullying, STEM, Social Emotional Learning, hygiene and etc. Resources such as touch screen laptops and a projector would allow the students to view different videos and create an atmosphere for small group discussions after the videos.
