This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education.Chromebooks for Creativity and Collaboration!
Funded Oct 17, 2018Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom! The Chromebooks donated have gotten us one step closer to having a one to one device classroom. This means that almost every student has a device, and is a huge success because of the possibilities we will be able to have in our learning.
These Chromebooks will allow each student to have individual learning capabilities with the various digital programs that we have available. We use Google Classroom to send assignments, links, hyperdocs, etc. to students, and they can submit their assignments and responses back to us. This drastically helps with cutting back on copies and cost. We also use reading programs, interactive sideshows, and various assessments and activities using these devices.
Because of your generous donation, we are able to enhance learning in our classroom, and give students the opportunity to learn and grow independently. Thank you!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Chevron Fuel Your School.Crazy for Chromebooks!
Funded Nov 1, 2017Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. The chrome books have helped my students apply their thinking and learning skills in many different subject areas. They have used programs to help enhance their reading comprehension, used their creativity to present their learning to others, and have started the journey of learning coding skills. We use them daily for various 21st century skills, and your donation has helped more students to have access to a device.
Having more chromebooks in the classroom has made our classroom run more smoothly. Students are able to turn in assignments digitally through Google Classroom, as well as receive announcements and information via email. This has drastically cut back the cost of making copies, as well as helped students become more responsible and reliable. Having more devices has been a huge addition to our classroom environment and has allowed us to be able to do activities and lessons that we wouldn't be able to do otherwise.
Thank you again for your generosity and contribution to education, and helping our students to learn and adapt in this technology-driven world. My hope is to help them to have opportunities in our society through developing 21st century skills, and thanks to your donation, this hope can become a reality.”

Getting Creative With Chromebooks!
Funded Oct 10, 2016Thank you so much for your contributions to our classroom project to get more Chromebooks. These computers offer our students the capability of reaching new levels of learning through amazing programs. Our school has access to various Internet-based programs to give support to struggling students, as well as enrich and challenge gifted thinkers. My students have had access to learn coding skills, explore new topics through research, and help each other through collaboration projects.
Because many programs are used on a one-to-one basis, having more Chromebooks in the classroom has helped my students get the help they need, as well as more time to enhance their learning. They no longer have to share devices, but can rather use their time more effectively and get the support they need to succeed. Our options for class instruction has been amplified due to more students having their own device. It has been satisfying to watch them collaborate and help each other by using shared editing programs with their own computers. It has simplified our classroom structure.
Having more devices has significantly helped my students by giving them more opportunities to learn, grow, practice, and inquire. They have more access to the programs that are designed to help them succeed. Thank you again for your generous contribution to the learning of my students.”
