My Autistic Support class is very unique. All of the students come from single parent low-income house-holds. My class consists of 7 African American males and 4 African American females. English is the primary language. The age span is from 8 years old to 11 years old. The majority of my class is verbal. The students in the classroom are not only creative and well behaved, but also, have fantastic peer and adult relationships. Most of them have been my students' since kindergarten. I am honored to be their teacher.
