All materials will allow my students to become fully engaged in the classroom experience. Dictionaries are a must and students need access to unfamiliar terms while reading. My students enjoy educational games. A class set of buzzers would allow me to take games to a higher level and encourage 100% participation. My students do research papers and have expressed an interest in starting a school newspaper. A classroom printer would allow them to work more efficiently. A podium will be used to enhance public speaking projects and classroom presentations. Headphones allow students to use computer programs that target their academic level. Wobble chairs will help students with low attention spans and will allow students to move around in their seat while keeping their engagement level high. Pencils sharpeners, pencils, copy paper, and dry erase makers are necessities that are used on a daily basis. Students need to feel that they are valued, and these items would definitely encourage them and boost their educational status.
