Bridging the Digital Divide: A Chromebook Creation

It is with much delight I am writing this note to say how much I appreciate this great thing that you have done for my students. You have made such a significant impact on the lives of my students to the extent that you are much deserving of a great, big, "thank you"!

When the computers arrived, my kids wanted to see what they looked like, so with much excitement, they opened the boxes and couldn't believe their eyes that right before them, were the computers they so much desired. It dawned on them that they now have a personal device on which they could conduct their research, read for pleasure, take their online tests, take virtual field trips, etc., etc., all of this without having the need to wait until someone else's laptop becomes available.

We dove into our immediate project- completing an online test which has a quickly approaching deadline. The beautiful thing was that we did not have to borrow computers from another classroom; we now have our own. You have changed our lives!”
