The donations for this project will improve my classroom by allowing students for an opportunity to move around the room to complete work, have a safe place to sit while in mini lessons, and motivate learning. I'm requesting one Colorful Places Seating Rug to sit on during mini lessons and whole group instruction. I want to create a classroom environment that fosters a sense of comfort and safety. Gathering at the meeting area is more engaging, and more effective for whole class instruction. Flexible seating is a choice provided to students that allows them to work around the room comfortably and focused. It provides students the environment they need to be their best. I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits with a carpet in my classroom.
