Scholastic News magazines give my students a window to all the amazing things in the world that they wouldn't otherwise have. It follows our curriculum throughout the year and supports thematic learning. When we are doing a project or learning about a subject, Scholastic News magazines support different views or give the students more information about what we are learning. Using both digital and print magazines, it enables students to read along while digitally listening, take the print version home to support learning, and use the print version to work in groups on class projects, and individually. Scholastic News magazines are used in my class as part of my reading curriculum.
