Hello everyone, I teach ninth grade English at an Art High School in California. All of my high school students specialize in visual and performing arts and are incredibly talented. Consisting of 130 culturally and socioeconomically diverse teenagers, my classrooms are filled with eager minds that strive to learn all they can and express their understanding in very unique ways. Although mindful of their craft, the students are often afraid to perform in my classroom, as English is not always a subject they are comfortable in.
