Copies on the Spot!
Funded Apr 26, 2019I am grateful for the donations you made to my classroom. For a long time, I have gone without a printer in the classroom to provide my students with copies of additional work that we could work on in small group. Having a printer will allow me to better reach students who need visual practice. It will allow us to create projects, investigate, add pictures to our work and much more. I look forward to diving right in and putting the printer to work. Thank you for understanding that students, teachers and schools are in need. Thank you for your generosity.”

Learn Sight Words in a Snap with Snapwords!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Everyday when we come to the carpet to learn our letters and sounds we also use our sight words in a snap to reinforce reading, spelling and writing sight words. We are acting them out and writing them like pros. I will continue to use these daily and hope to see an increase in the number or sight words my kindergarteners can read come June.
When I first introduced sight words in a snap the class was so excited. I saw them laughing as they learned to read and write these words in a whole new way. Sight words can be a very routine and unexciting time of the day and it has now become fun!
Thank you so much for your generous gift to my class. I could have never shared this learning experience with my class without your help. Please know how much you are appreciated.”

Funded Jul 21, 2017Thank you! Your generosity to supporting classrooms like mine are appreciated more than my
Words can express. My Kindergarten students have already begun to use Our Boogie Board Jots to practice writing their name, forming their letters, writing sight words and in math to show ways to make 5. They have even used them for choice time, drawing pictures allowing them to be creative but also develop fine motor skills and go through development of drawing. We are even using less paper! The best part of using these is not just how versatile they are but the excitement each child has to use the "cool" tool to improve themselves.
Please know that we will always be reminded of your generosity each time we use these in class and that you have helped make learning fun!”

Funded Jan 25, 2017I want to take this time to say thank you from me and my entire Kindergarten class. As you can see from the pictures the kids were so excited when the box of pillows arrived. The students have flourished during reading time since the time the alternative seating has been introduced. Students are reading for longer periods of time, are more focused, and look forward to this time each day. Teachers and students are so fortunate to have wonderful people like you to help make our dreams of a classroom that promotes learning to you.”
