Students will be using rubberlike pigs and frogs during Physical Education class to work on the skills of underhand and overhand throwing. These animals will be used in addition to other Physical Education equipment, giving students choices and the opportunity for individual development. These animals also provide a FUN non-threating atmosphere for all students to practice their skills. With this equipment, it will allow students the opportunity to develop fundamental skills while having a whole lot of fun! Students will use the hula hoops for a variety activities; jumping & landing, body awareness, targeting, spacial awareness, and lifelong fitness. Currently, my class set of hula hoops are broken/bent and do not provide the same fun learning outcomes.
