Our students and families had the option to opt-in or opt-out of in person instruction this year. These books will be valuable learning tools both in the physical classroom and for at-home learners. We spend the first day of each week reading and taking guided notes. The next day we come back together as a class and discuss the reading. Our online students join us for these discussion via Google Meet. Our 9th grade students have just finished reading Kindred, the graphic novel and requested that they have the opportunity to read more novels in that subject area and style this year.
