  • Extra, Extra! Classroom Supplies Needed!

    Funded Mar 26, 2017

My students and I appreciate the supplies you donated to our class. It was like Christmas day as I opened the boxes and began handing each student supplies to put into their desk. Many of the students in my class come from low income households and their families were not able to continuously supply them with what they needed.

Everything was put to great use on a daily basis and allowed the students to finish out the school year with the items they needed to assist them in being academically successful.

    Thank you.”

The games I chose and the construction paper will allow for hands on experiences and activities. The students will become engaged in the topics we are learning about by giving them an alternative way of learning. We are limited on supplies and resources so this will help make learning fun. The supplies I receive will allow the students to have access to individualized instruction based on their needs and offer them a variety of learning experiences. These alternative learning materials will ultimately increase their goal of success. In addition, they will also supplement what the students may not be able to purchase (i.e. construction paper).
