  • Please Help Build Our Vocabulary!

    Funded Jan 6, 2011

I just just wanted to thank you for your generous donation. Your gift to my classroom has had such a positive effect. My students look forward to finishing their work so that they can have time playing the vocabulary games. Center time also has become a lot more exciting to them. I have found that they are socializing a lot better as they play, learn, and help each other. Their vocabulary and reading reading scores have also increased. All of this wouldn't have been made possible if it weren't or your kindness.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rosenberg

  • Help Us Get Ready For State Test

    Funded Sep 10, 2010

I would like to tell you that your donation has helped bring up my students' confidence. Everyday I see great improvements in their testing skills. The test prep books give the children an opportunity to practice and prepare for the Third Grade New York State English and Language Arts Test they will be taking in May. They actually look forward to using the books and they have become part of our daily morning routine.

The homework folders have been great in helping my students organize their work that has to go home. The front and back cover is also used as a reference.

Once again, your wonderful, generous gift, has been such a help to my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Rosenberg

  • Help Us See the VALUE of Math

    Funded Oct 6, 2010

I can't thank you enough for your generous donation. My students were having a lot of trouble understanding place value. Your donation of the place value boards and charts have had such a positive impact. My students look forward to math everyday. They are able to have hands on practice moving the numbers on the boards. They are also able to work with each other which also allows them to learn from each other. Once again I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

  • Reading And Writing Instant Learning Centers

    Funded Mar 3, 2010

Thank you for your generous gift of educational games for my students. They have been having so much fun playing, socializing, and learning together. The last few weeks have been very stressful for them as they are getting ready for the state ELA test for 3rd grade. These games have been a wonderful tool to help them reinforce the skills and strategies they need for the test.

The budget cuts have had such an impact and supplies have been low, so needless to say there is no extra money for games in the classroom. Your donation has made it possible for my students to learn while playing games. Thank you again!”

  • Reading Comprehension Games

    Funded Mar 2, 2010

I just want to thank you again for making such a difference in my students' learning. I have seen such a tremendous change in the way that they are motivated to learn. There is a schedule up in the classroom, (of the different education games that you have purchased) and the times each student gets to play them. I love the fact they they are always checking which skill they will be working on for the day.

I have also seen that they are more focused during the minilessons for each skill.

Your thoughtfulness has helped to make my classroom a fun environment. My students get to socialize with one another while they learn from each other. You are extremely kind and giving.”
